Deactivate a Condition

We do not allow the update of a condition, they can only be replaced with a new condition.

All change management staging and expiration state operations happen at the Rule level. Conditions do not have a state field and are either active or soft deleted (explicit removal). A 404 error will be returned if a condition has already been soft deleted.

Conditions remain “active” even if a rule is deactivated. Conditions are only soft deleted when they are explicitely removed from the rule by an admin. We never restore a soft deleted condition.
