Deprecate a Policy Rule

Usage

prv policy-rule:deprecate [options]

Aliases

You can also use these shorthand aliases:

• prv policy-rule:expire
• prv porul:deprecate
• prv porul:expire

Options

Option	Description
-i, --id[=<value>]	The ULID of the rule
--expires_at[=<value>]	Schedule to deactivate at a specific datetime (UTC). Format: 2024-01-01 00:00:00
-e, --expires_after_days[=<value>]	Schedule to deactivate after a number of days.
-E, --inherit_expiration	Inherit the ruleset default expires_after_days value
-F, --force	Confirm that you want to deprecate the rule
--api	(Debug) Show the API endpoint and query string in the command header

Examples

Schedule rule expiration

prv policy-rule:deprecate --id=porul_01hq8xyzabc123def456ghi789 --expires_at="2024-12-31 23:59:00"

Deprecate after 30 days

prv policy-rule:deprecate --id=porul_01hq8xyzabc123def456ghi789 --expires_after_days=30

Inherit expiration from ruleset

prv policy-rule:deprecate --id=porul_01hq8xyzabc123def456ghi789 --inherit_expiration
