How Provisionr Helps

Provisionr automatically adds and removes users from Google Workspace Groups via the Google API. Google Groups are commonly used for:
  • Email mailing lists — Team distribution lists, announcement groups
  • Google Drive permissions — Shared drives, folders, and documents
  • Google Cloud IAM — Organization, folder, and project-level role bindings

The Problem We Solve

Google Workspace user metadata doesn’t have enough attribute fields to provide granular access control. You end up:
  • Inviting users individually to Drive folders and Cloud projects
  • Maintaining separate group memberships that drift out of sync
  • Building scripts to sync users across multiple Google Groups

What to Expect

With Provisionr managing your Google Workspace Groups:
  • New team members get added to the right mailing lists, Drive folders, and Cloud projects automatically
  • Role-based permissions ensure users have access based on their team and job function
  • Group memberships stay current as organizational structure evolves
  • One policy update propagates across all connected Google resources
